На прошлой неделе был запущен поисковик Cosmodex, пользователям которого начисляются единицы трафика, сообщает InfoWorld. Владельцы поисковика надеются таким образом привлечь клиентов с веб-ресурсами небольшого размера, малой посещаемостью и отсутствием бюджета на онлайновую рекламу.


Однажды зарегистрировавшись в Cosmodex, клиент получает некоторое количество очков на свой персональный "счёт", которые отражают направляемый на его веб-сайт трафик. Для увеличения количества очков клиенту необходимо регулярно пользоваться поисковиком - так за каждый клик ему будет начисляться по одному очку, а за присваивание странице Cosmodex.com статуса домашней клиент получает 2000 очков и затем по очку за каждое посещение. Чем больше очков заработает пользователь, тем популярнее будет его ресурс.

The Tango Desktop Project exists to create a consistent user experience for free and Open Source software with graphical user interfaces.

While the look and feel of an application is determined by many components the initial work has been done on unifying the look of the individual icon sets.

Tango defines a standard icon style guidelines document that applications and desktop enviroments can adhere to. Work has started on creating a new base icon theme based on a standard icon naming specification. In addition, we provide transition utilities to create icon themes for existing GNOME and KDE desktops.

What is Typetester?


The Typetester is an online application for comparison of the fonts for the screen. Its’ primary role is to make web designer’s life easier. As the new fonts are bundled into operating systems, the list of the common fonts will be updated.
